A member asked:

Adrenal insufficiency symptoms but inconclusive lab results, what to do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Big picture: If you have self-diagnosed "adrenal axis disorder" based on something you read on the internet, but your acth stimulation test did not allow the diagnosis of addisonism, you're in no danger. Your life situation and perspectives may be making you feel this way and perhaps they can be adjusted. True addisonism is rare but does still get missed ; repeat testing in a few months may be in order.
