Get treated: Recurrent C. difficile infection can be common - up to 25% of cases. It is important for you to complete the course of therapy your doctor recommends. Avoid taking antibiotics in the future unless absolutely necessary as antibiotics can kill the "good bacteria" in the stool leading to overgrowth of C. difficile.
