Taper off caffeine: And sugar. You can either taper caffeinated beverages themselves or switch to a caffeine pill and do it that way. If you want to taper the beverage, switch to a sugar-free variety to start, and cut back by one drink every 2-3 days. For most people, this is a 2 week process. If you are going too fast, you may get headaches. Pills have 25-50 mg, and 1-2=one drink. End up drinking just water, not soda.
