Is a heart rate of 124 dangerous. Blood pressure was normal?

No not short term. : Heart rate going up is normal during exercise. If your heart rate stays elevated despite resting and even during sleep then that is not normal and need further evaluation. Pain can sometimes increase heart rate as may other conditions like thyroid problems. I would see your pcp for further evaluation.

A 34-year-old female asked:

Is 105 heart rate is good while normal household activities? Blood pressure is good

Depends on activity: Normal adult pulse is ranges from 50-100 bpm. If your household activity is vigorous, then 105 would be excellent. More importantly, if you should be able to accomplish your tasks well without feeling short of breath, then the actual rate is less important. For aerobic training, the heart rate that will most efficiently burn fat is 130 to 155 beats per minute.
A 34-year-old member asked:

How can you determine if your blood pressure is high or low when checked and if your heart rate is normal?

Dr. Duane Berkompas

Need to know normal: Goal for most patients is to have top blood pressure below 140 (under 135 for diabetics) and bottom pressure under 90 (under 85 for diabetics). It is not unusual to have an occasional blood pressure reading be above this. Goal pulse is 60-100, although not unusual to be in 50's. Medication is presribed to treat the general trend of bp's.
