Yes.: Sleep deprivation can cause irritation of the eyes making them red and inflamed. Worse than that, you could get headaches, irritability and difficulty concentrating.

Sure: Your eyes need rest too, and lack of sleep will eventually cause a strain on all areas of your body.

Not common: Lack of sleep ( insomnia) usually does not cause pain but if you were using your eyes excessively like driving for long time or watching movie, it may hurt due to over use and stress.
