FU with doctor: A low Albumin is not specific. It could be related to a wide range of illnesses or it could be transient and meaningless. Albumin is produced in the liver and can be low in cases of malnutrition, liver disease, kidney disease and other. Your best option to follow up with his physician. He has the whole picture. I had drank only about 300ml of water and bloods were done at 1:45pm. Albumin was 48g/l (35-50) and total protein was 82 g/l (66-87). Jumped from 74f/l back in Nov. Could low intake of water and late time caused it?
