Could be: Paraguard inhibits implantation of a fertilized egg into the womb. It does not change your hormones. So if there is any change in your ovulation it will still happen. It is still possible to have a tubal pregnancy so it might be prudent to check a pregnancy resort. Also the iud is not 100%
