Not common, but: There are some rare genetic disorders that can lead to early onset colon cancer.

It depends: Your risk factors. Usually we would not screen a 22 year old for colon cancer. However if you have certain inherited family syndromes and certain diseases such as ulcerative colitis and chrons disease, then you would be at risk for colon cancer at an early age. Hope this helps.

Not usaually: Colon cancer is not common before age 50 unless you have a strong family history of early colon cancers.
