Endometrial ablation: The purpose of endometrial ablation is to help stop heavy bleeding by burning and thinning the endometrial lining of the uterus. A thin line on ultrasound is expected and desirable. Is there a reason why you want to thicken your lining? Do not try to get pregnant with the endometrial ablation because it may lead to a placenta accreta.

Ablation: Is used to permanently thin the uterine lining in women with excessive bleeding . Do not get pregnant! there is no way to thicken it back up.
