Several types: A full evaluation of the female system by a gynecologist or fertility specialist is a starting point. If you have functioning ovaries, you can sometimes look to a surrogate to carry a pregnancy for you, but that is likely your best hope for parenthood. Genetic counseling to understand the process and importance on your family is also worthwhile.

Uterine development: If there is an associated abnormality of the vagina, corrective surgery is available. The uterus itself will remain non-functioning. Of importance, developmental abnormalities of the genital system are often associated with abnormalities of kidney and ureter development. Ultrasound or x-ray evaluation of the kidneys, ureters and bladder is needed.
