Yes: Some people with liver metastasis may be cured of their cancer under certain circumstances. Otherwise, there are treatment options to prolong survival. These include local treatments directed at the liver, as well as systemic chemotherapy. The majority of people with liver metastasis, however, unfortunately will ultimately die of the cancer.
