Pulsatile tinnitus: Is a rhythmical noise that has the same rate as the heart. This is easily checked by feeling the arm pulse at the same time as listening to the tinnitus. Pulsatile tinnitus is due to a change in blood flow in the vessels near the ear, like the aorta in your case. Rec.: see your pcp for further investigation and treatment the cause. Hope it helps.
