? related to thyroid: In cases of severe hypothyroidism , one may get symptoms of depression. But if you are going to start medications tomorrow then you will be better in 2-6 weeks.

Yes: Hypothyroidism can cause some symptoms including depressed mood, as well as weight gain, hair loss, constipation, fatigue etc.
