Iud and symptoms: Iud can cause spotting depending on the type. Following insertion some people may experience some pelvic discomfort in the form of cramps. This tend to disappear with time. Start with getting a pregnancy test and also see your doctor to ensure you have no pelvic infections or infections of the urinary tract etc.
