A member asked:

How long does it take for doxycycline to relieve dysuria?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A few days: Assuming you are taking Doxycycline for a urinary tract infection, it takes a few days. Taking Pyridium (phenazopyridine) and drinking lots of fluids can help with the irritation, as can baking soda baths. If you are taking Doxycycline and do not have a urinary tract infection, the doxy is unlikely to do much for you.
