Needs follow up : Is the patient yellow (sallow )? If he is having pain in the abdominal area, his liver enzymes could be elevated, certainly because of his heavy alcohol use combined with his history of hep c. If he does not already have a GI specialist that deals with hepatitis c, then he needs one. You need to determine his viral load, and he needs to be on treatment if that viral load is high.

This is from liver: Inflammation from his hepatitis c. You need protection too from hepatitis c too. Your history indicates you've drank alcohol heavily. At this time both of you need to refrain from that, as it will increase the inflammation. Also, hydrate and make sure your boyfriend is receiving follow up care for his liver condition. He needs to stay away from any deep fried, or processed foods, as possible.
