Yes: Yes, one can (but not always) "outgrow" their allergies. The current belief is that one becomes less sensitive to allergens (the thing we are allergic to) due to an improved immune function in your body. This improvement, however, can wane in our older years as our body's immune function is less effective as we get older, resulting in a return of our allergies.
