Need Celiac panel: There are specific blood test that should be done for celiac disease. Sometimes endoscopy and biopsy may be needed.

Not at all: People with CD can have a stable general medical condition with normal CBC & CBC. To test for CD you look for evidence that your body has formed antibodies to your gut. These include Transglutaminase IgA,Gliadin-transglutaminase IgA complex and others.These are often part of a "celiac panel" performed in a larger or specialty lab.If these are high, referral for confirmatory GI testing is common.
