Is it normal to have light pick discharge at 5 weeks pregnant?

Common symptom: Spotting early in pregnancy is really common. I worry when it's bright red and accompanied by cramping. There is a risk of miscarriage with every conception, and there really isn't anything to do at this point but to wait. Be reassured that the odds are in your favor that all will go well. Call your OB if your symptoms escalate to red bleeding. S/he will need to check your blood type.
