Approx 1 week: It takes approximately one week, after sex that results in fertilization of the egg with sperm, for the fertilized egg to travel into the uterus and attach itself.

Pregnancy: Great question. So, if you conceived, which usually takes place in the fallopian tube, it can take a few days (24-72 hours) to reach and implant into the uterus, if all goes well.
