Same answer!: The more anxious you become, the worse your BP will be. This is very mild elevation of the BP - really just borderline elevated. Don't focus on a single BP reading -it isn't harmful and has no meaning. Take your readings at complete rest for at least 10 minutes. Check it 3 times and average them. If the average is >140 or >90, check with your doc - a little increased Lisinopril may do the trick.

Try lifestyle change: First check that it's a good resting and reproducible measurement. If it's persistently (borderline) high, the first step would be regular aerobic exercise (at least 30 mins, at least 3x per week) and healthy diet (try the dash diet from the nih), with regular BP checks. If the BP does not improve over the next few months, lab work might be necessary...And eventually medication.
