Immunodeficiency : Humoral or antibody deficiency occurs when there is a poor production of antibodies either in quantity or in quality, thus predispose the subjects to infections, predominantly bacterial infections. Depending on the severity of the deficiency and of the infections, treatment can be either antibiotic prophylaxis or immunoglobulin replacement. We allergist/immunologist treat those conditions.
