Nicotine Addiction: This term refers to the addiction that occurs with tobacco use, mainly cigarettes. With prolonged use of tobacco, certain parts of the brain crave more and more nicotine. When an addicted person tries to stop tobacco use, very uncomfortable physical mental symptoms occur which drives the individual to smoke again.
