See your doctor: Male breast cancer is rare- best approach would be to see a physician, have a history and physical exam, and have either a mammogram or ultrasound (usually both). More common reason for male breast lumps is called gynecomastia. It is not related to cancer, but sometimes if symptoms of pain persist, can be treated by surgical removal of lump.
