Scalp dermatitis: Could be another condition causing a scalp dermatitis, such as seborrhea dermatitis, which can also cause flaking of skin and dandruff. Best wishes.

Head itch: The most common cause of itchy scalp is seborrhea. This can be treated by using medicated shampoos, such as sebulex, t-gel, and selsun blue. If this does not work see a dermatologist.
