Can you explain if it's possible to get pityriasis rosea that never goes away?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Question diagnosis: It is uniformly felt that pityriasis rosea will resolve usually less than 6 to 8 weeks. If your rash is not resolving in over 8 weeks the diagnosis may be wrong. A dermatologist consultation would be appropriate.
