Yes but RARE: The platelet count would have to be so low that you spontaneously started to bleed and did nothing about it. The pLT count can go quite low without consequence although it must be followed by a hematologist. If it gets to low a platelet transfusion is performed and the number rises significantly

Is an RDW of 16 concern? Hemaglobin in the 10's, mcv, mch, mchc all in the low normal. Hgb 10.6, RBC 3.99 platelets 262, lymph/mono/seg % normal.
