Invisalign: Invisalign and conventional orthodontic brackets\band technique can both be used for teenagers as well as adults. Orthodontists generally prefer the conventional technique as they have more control over tooth movement. That is not to say invisalign might not be able to produce the same excellent results in your particular case. I would recommend you consult with an orthodontist to discuss options.

Yes: But it depends on the situation being treated. Not all cases are invisalign cases - teen or adult. Hope this helps.

Not my teenager: Lots of reasons why not, including but not limited to: Teens loose things often...like Invisalign trays, clear aligners LESS THAN half as effective as braces so end result not as good, to be effective trays have to be worn all the time and how often has your teen said "I forgot." Talk to a qualified Orthodontic Specialist, but know that Braces work better, in less time, and are less expensive.

Talk to orthodontist: See an Invisalign provider, and have a consultation and evaluation. You will need X-rays and photos and computerized screening to make sure you are a good candidate for this treatment. Most likely, it will work. Good luck. Talk to orthodontist only about Invisalign. It can be a good alternative to traditional braces.

Invisalign : Both conventional orthodontics and Invisalign are an appropriate treatment options for teenagers depending on the individual case. The disadvantage of Invisalign for teens is compliance, not wearing or loosing aligners. So discuss treatment options with your orthodontist. Many orthodontist can do either.

Yes: and many orthodontist will point you in that direction as its more profitable. That said, we do not recommend it at all and will only treat a teenager if the parents are adamant about it (in contrast we treat TONS of adults with it). kids lose the aligners (expensive), it costs you the parent more money and they do not have the sigma of braces that adults can potentially face
