Insulin mixtures: These insulins do not appear to be available in the US. 70/30 mixes are usually a mixture of NPH and regular. NPH is intermediate in duration (peaks about 10 hr, lasts about 24 hr) and regular peaks about 3-4 hr, lasts about 8. It may say on the bottle or package insert what kind of insulin. Look for the words "NPH" and or "regular".
