Axial skeleton: Most of the bone marrow is in the skull, vertebral bodies (back bones), pelvis, ribs, and upper portion of the femurs (thigh bones) and humeri (upper arms). It is the red part of a beef bone that you see when a butcher cuts the bone with a saw.
