No: Well-trained, professional therapists understand the intensity of transference feelings. They work constructively with them, for the patient's benefit. Much of the work of therapy involves exploring, understanding, and resolving such feelings -- because they mirror the relationship patterns for which the person is seeking help. At times in their work, therapists do seek personal supervision.

Normal: Discuss with therapist who is a trained professional and is used to dealing with this normal phenomenon. Should be no problem unless it becomes obsessive and interferes with your daily functioning.
