Go to ER now...: ...As this could be caused by a heart problem. It may be injury-releated or have other causes but sometimes young adults do have cardiac conditions. Go see a doctor asap. Good luck!

Possibly: Chest and left arm tightness that lasts for several days may be caused by inflammation of the sac containing the heart (the pericardium). This is called pericarditis and can be caused by several things. Symptoms can be worse in certain positions or with deep breathing. Less common causes would be an injured shoulder or chest wall pain. An echo test would help sort it out.
