Who can get an abdominal cyst on left upper abdomen & why do they come out ?

Before answering...: ...Please clarify for us if your "cyst" is external, or has been found by an imaging study. If the latter, was the cyst isolated or associated with a solid organ (liver, pancreas, kidney, ovary, etc.), what was its size, and was it described as simple or complex? Also, is the cyst new or has it been seen before, and is enlarging?
