May still be overlap: One should simply avoid alcohol altogether when taking prescription medications, especially tranquilizers such as diazepam, no matter how many days after. Diazepam has a bit of a long half life of 24hrs. This means that it is likely that there was still the possibility that the diazepam was in your system while you were drinking alcohol. Diazepine interacting with alcohol can cause strong fatigue.
