A member asked:

Is it possible to feel fetal movement at 10 weeks? i put a lil pressure on my abdomen w my hand n every so often i feel little "bumps" likeitsbouncing

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: The fetus at 10 weeks is only about an inch long and is incapable, at least as far as everything i've ever learned about obstetrics is concerned, of producing 'fetal movement' as it were. Increased blood flow to the uterus can give a palpation sensation...Like a throbbing or sense of your own heartbeat. That would be my best guess. Enjoy your pregnancy, and best wishes.
