Not really "normal": This sounds like an obsessional worry or fear. Ocd is defined by either an obsession or a compulsion or both, if they take up enough time to interfere with one's functioning and cause significant distress.

No: No it is not normal. Seems you have anxiety surrounding an irrational fear of passing out even though you have never done it before. You should see a psychiatrist for appropriate treatment options. One thing you could do is read a book called the anxiety and phobia workbook which is a book available on amazon to help with your anxiety and irrational fears.
