Yes and No: Healthy people can get a positive screening test for hiv. Screening tests have high sensitivity but not very high specificity. Many issues can cause a false positive including flu vaccination. Mostly the cause of false positive is not known and it is not because there is anything wrong with the person who gets a false positive test.
