Depends: On whether she regularly takes oral contraceptives. If she does, the chances of pregnancy are very low, but not zero. If she was not taking them, and only took one just before she had intercourse with you, she is not protected. In addition, birth control pills do not protect against sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhea, syphilis, HIV and hepatitis b, among others. Use condoms.

Consistent use: The effectiveness of contraceptive pills depends upon how consistent your partner was taking them before. If she's been taking them daily then they should work just fine, if she just started taking them on the day you chose to have intercourse that is unlikely to work.
