Yes, this is not: An uncommon combination. It can be used to treat depression. I have often used this combination to treat people with ptsd with dissociation.

Many conditions: Zoloft (sertraline, an ssri antidepressant) and Abilify (aripiprazole) (aripuprazole, a newer antipsychotic) can be used together. Both have potential side effects. In general, this combination could be used to treat psychotic conditions (such as schizophrenia), bipolar depression, and unipolar depression (major depressive disorder). Less commonly may be used for ptsd, personality disorders and other conditions.
