Many things: Sharp abdominal pain can be due to female reproductive tract, but could also be due to gastrointestinal tract or musculoskeletal. Slimy red discharge is likely normal, but could also be a sign of hormonal imbalance. I would see a doctor given that you're having sharp pain and make sure that it isn't something serious. Otherwise, ovarian cysts could cause, endometriosis, are 2 common causes.
