My preference: From a safety and side effect point of view is horizant. This's is an extended release form of gabapentin. Although Lyrica (pregabalin) did slightly better in a recent study, it is not approved for this. Also, Lyrica (pregabalin) carries a considerable risk of weight gain. Antiparkinson's drugs work but sometimes eventually cause the symptoms to worsen during the day. Klonopin can be helpful.
