See eye doctor: If you saw an eye doctor and he was not worried then it is probably nothing serious. If it was a general md you might want a second opinion with an eye doctor. It could be anything from an inflamed pterygium (benign growth on eye), inflammatory reaction from blepharitis, corneal scar, infection or contact lens reaction. If it worsens or is associated with pain or vision loss, see your eye doctor!
