Japan: If you are traveling to Japan start wi regulars like MMR, DTP, varicella, Polio & flu shots. If you are just going to major cities, Japanese Encephalitic vaccine isn't usually needed. There are rare cases of Japanese Encephalitis which usually occur btwn July & October. If you are engaging in adventure travel – rabies might be appropriate.
