I have pots syndrome. i'm going south for a week, last time i swelled to my waist, very painful, could not walk. what can i take/do this time to help?

Compression stocking: Some of my pots patients have had good success with compression stockings of the jobst variety but they are seriously squeezing at 40mm. Hg compression rating and i usually want them to wear thigh highs since venous pooling can also occur in the abdominal circulation. Down side with these stockings? Most people have a rough time keeping them on...They are tight and require help to on/off.
