A member asked:

Is it nessesary to feed my baby meat every day ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Protein: No, meat is not always necessary in a baby's diet, but he will need protein. Depending on your baby's age, he can get protein from a variety of foods- eggs, milk, cheese, yogurt, beans (legumes), soy, and other foods. If you don't give your child meats (if you are vegetarian), talk with your doctor to make sure he is getting all the nutrients he needs.
