Probably not!: Osteonecrosis usually manifests as a gum with exposed bone. While you may develop the issue after a tooth extraction or a bad abscess or even a nasty laceration of the gums, the probability of it happening as you described is low. Never the less, you are not going to feel comfortable without seeing your dentist about the pain you are feeling.

See dentist: You can have dental treatment while you are taking medications for osteoporosis. Dental care is extremely important and you want to save your teeth if possible. Your dentist will discuss the very low risk of osteonecrosis after extractions with you. Try to treat the tooth rather than remove it.

ONJ: The highest risk of onj occurs after surgery such as with difficult extracts when IV drugs for osteoporosis were give more recently. Even then the chance is low. Oral medications do not generally have much risk except in medically compromised patients. If your tooth hurts, you need to see a dentist to determine the cause and treat appropriately. To prevent problems you need routine checkups ; care.

Unlikely: After 7 years, risk should be very minimal. Depends what you mean by "similar" drugs. Risk much lower with oral drugs. Keep your dental health up to avoid the need for surgery which is what usually leads to osteonecrosis. Any ongoing pain should be evaluated by an oral surgeon
