Stargarts Disease: No there is no cure.But it only affects the eyes and no other ill effects.

Not now: This is an inherited degeneration of the macula which starts usually in the teen years and progresses to profound central vision loss. No current medical or surgical treatment will help this condition. Work is being done on stem cell replacement which offers some promise but this work is in the earliest stages.
