Condoms and HPV: Condoms are not 100% effective at stopping transmission of hpv. Please get the vaccine!

No guarantee: There is no guarantee that a condom will stop HPV.Prevention rate is estimated at 80%.No protection is afforded to any tissue not covered by the condom that may come in contact with any sexual fluids.Any sexual contact can pass a variety of diseases including HPV. The vaccine is helpful in preventing it but only for the strains in the vaccine and only if taken before exposure.
