Pus?: If they have pus (pustules), then i would be concerned that he may have impetigo which needs to be treated with an antibiotic. This is all the more likely since both kids have it.

A picture ; history: When is comes to rashes there is no substitute for seeing, either directly or a pic. How long has the rash been there? Is is a long term rash or did is come in the last few days? Is the rash itchy? Could these be bug bites? I would recommend seeing your pediatrician if this rash doesn't go away in a few days or becomes worse. If is looks like this pic it is a form of warts.
