PH: I would ask the gynecologist to perform a ph test. If your vagina is more alkaline, a raise in ph would do this, then then it's possible your vagina is not populated with the lactobacilli that it needs to be populated with. Given that there's swelling the vagina must be reacting to something. Sometimes the test we perform our falsely negative. Good luck.
